The Rio de Janeiro City Hall, in partnership with Google through the Special Secretariat for Women's Policies and Promotion, has opened registrations for 20,000 free spots for Google's Professional Certificates starting on June 20th. The company has donated 12,000 scholarships for this initiative, with vacancies being filled immediately through a selection process organized by the municipality. Currently, the course portfolio includes seven professional training programs in the following areas: Google's Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, IT Support, Data Analytics, Project Management, User Experience Design, and Digital Marketing and E-commerce.
All classes are 100% online via the Coursera platform, with durations ranging from 140 to 200 hours, totaling approximately 5 months. Registrations must be done online. To participate, individuals must be 16 years or older and residents of Rio de Janeiro.
