The Public Order Department and the Municipal Guard have set up a special operation in support of the G20 Chancellors' meeting, which is taking place in the city this Tuesday (20/02) and Wednesday (21/02). The meeting will take place at Marina da Glória, on the Aterro do Flamengo, and will be attended by approximately 150 agents. The actions began at 7am on Tuesday and will continue until the end of the event, scheduled for 6pm on Wednesday.
The teams will work around the event, at Marina da Glória, and also in the parking areas created by CET-Rio in some neighborhoods in the South Zone, as well as at airports.
The agents will also carry out inspections and traffic blockades to make it easier for those attending the event to get around and to collaborate in promoting the safety of the authorities, in support of the police forces and in actions to organize and clear public areas.
